Poppy Harris, originally from Atlanta, Georgia, has spentthe past four years in Sewanee, Tennessee, where she earned her undergraduate degree in psychology and philosophy. During her time at Sewanee, she worked as a mentor at the Cumberland Forest School, cultivating her passion for education and an introduction to Montessori curriculum. Poppy spent her high school summers backpacking and later worked as a youth backpacking leader in Wyoming during her college summers. She is eager to immerse herself in the MSIMS community and explore the vibrant city of Boulder.
