Maddie was born in a college town in Arkansas and settled here in Colorado after graduating high school.  Maddie is currently pursuing her B.A. in Computer Science, with a keen interest in the intersection between Education and Technology. They have been practicing Early Childhood Education for 6 years, mostly working in conventional preschool environments before she found her passion for Montessori.

Drawing from their personal experience struggling with childhood ADHD while in traditional schools, Maddie firmly believes in the transformative power of Montessori for neurodivergent children. They find a great deal of joy in fostering an environment where children can explore and thrive independently, while still feeling secure and supported. 

When they aren't relaxing with a video game or a movie at home they love to attend concerts, hang out with their husky Tokko, and visit thrift shops. Besides education, her biggest passions are art, technology, and pop culture.
