Ms. Kayla Montgomery is honored to join the Mountain Shadows community for the 2024-25 school year. Kayla is originally from Huntington Beach, where her passion for Montessori education blossomed. Her unwavering dedication to children's education led her to Arizona, where she has resided for the past 7 years. During this time, she played a pivotal role in launching a new school, deepening her understanding of and commitment to Montessori pedagogy.

Kayla holds an undergraduate degree in early-childhood education and an Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) diploma at the Primary level. She has been guiding and leading Primary classrooms since 2015 and has prior experience working for several years in a bilingual Montessori community as the English speaking guide. Kayla is a passionate advocate of lifelong learning and wholeheartedly believes that every child can thrive as a learner.

In her leisure time, she enjoys nature, crafting, and stand-up comedy. Kayla is excited to be relocating to Colorado and is eager to become a valued member of the MSIMS community!
