Ajedrea Silvestre is originally from Colombia, where she studied Fine and Visual Arts at Francisco José de Caldas University (ASAB Faculty). Her passion for nature, ancestral knowledge, science, multiculturalism, and psychology has fostered a reflective, explorative, and multidisciplinary approach to enriching her observations of the world.

With experience as an Art Tutor, Art Educator, Teacher Assistant, and Workshop Provider, Ajedrea inspires both children and adults to connect their development and curiosity about the world to their unique creative expression. One of her most meaningful experiences was being part of the New Horizons Co-op Preschool, where multiculturalism was embraced as a practice of empathy. Ajedrea looks forward to pursuing her passion for AMI Montessori pedagogy and learning alongside Koral and the children.
