Mountain Shadows is thrilled to have the talent of three new assistants in our classrooms. We are happy to introduce Brittany Ringler (Lower Elementary), Nicola Podboy (YCC Long-Term Sub), and Paige Legault (Primary, Koral’s Class) and welcome them to our community.
Paige Legault – Primary

The only homegrown Coloradan on the MSMS faculty and staff is Longmont native Paige Legault. Paige came to Mountain Shadows from Adventure Montessori in Lafayette where she also served as a Primary assistant. The 2010 Silver Creek High School graduate attends Front Range Community College. After assisting in both an AMI and AMS school, she is looking forward to earning her AMI certification this summer!
Her early childhood education experience also includes serving as a nanny for 58 families with children ranging from newborn to 12 years old. When she’s not working or nannying, she enjoys reading, her new German Shepherd/Border Collie mix puppy Cooper, movies, and alone time!
Nicola Podboy – YCC

Nicola comes to Mountain Shadows from Pebblecreek Montessori High School in the Dallas suburb of Allen, Texas where she was a classroom lead directress and served as the classical western music teacher. She returned to the United States this summer after three years of work and training in Chennai, India where she was a lead directress at the Shriram Matriculation School there. Nicola is AMI certified through the Montessori Casa Dei Bambini.
Outside of the classroom she enjoys singing, poetry, dance, beginning yoga, and has experience in farm management. She has conversational language skills in Spanish and Italian.
Brittany Ringler – Lower Elementary
A central Massachusetts native, Brittany moved to Boulder just this fall. A recent graduate of UMass Amherst, she earned her

bachelor’s degree in Communication with a minor in education in 2013. She was introduced to Montessori during an internship at The Renaissance School in Springfield, Mass. A lifelong artisan, she loves to make jewelry and crochet. She also enjoys dance, cooking, listening to music, and is taking advantage of all that the Rockies have to offer, including all of the amazing trails here.
